Hello, my darlings!
My Nonna used to always tell me, “Bella mia, dove c’è divertimento, non c’è alcuna perdita!” The rough translation of which is, “My Bella, where there is enjoyment, there is no loss!” I remember spending long hours in the kitchen with her, watching her make pasta from scratch, listening to her explain to me the mysteries of life over a simmering pot of sugo alla puttanesca and wondering if I was ever going to understand what she was saying.
It may be a little known fact that Miss Bella does, in fact, love to cook. You name the gadget and I probably have it; But to be honest, the best things in life come from perhaps the simplest tools. A pan, a good set of knives, a few mixing bowls, and a stove/oven are often all I need to make culinary magic.
However, there is one tool that I’ve been longing for, but didn’t have in my kitchen… until Monday. I was just wandering around the kitchen, trying to decide what I wanted to nibble on before bed, and there came a knock at my door. Not expecting anyone, I pulled a robe on to cover up that sexy lingerie you all know I wear, and answered the door with a smile. A package was waiting for me. One I wasn’t expecting!
Well I love surprises, you all already know this! How many times have I tittered on about the latest gift from my subby boys to grace my doorstep? Miss Bella adores being pampered!
